Terri Yurek
Terri grew up enjoying the clear lakes and the unspoiled woodlands of a small suburban town in northern Minnesota. Since her move to San Diego in 1995, she has easily adapted to idyllic climate, the chic atmosphere of downtown and the casual attitude of the beach that the city has become so well known for.
She started her health care career as a financial analyst for a local San Diego medical group. She has worked intimately with some of San Diego’s finest physicians and hospitals ensuring that their contractual obligations with health plans provided the best possible value for their members.
This experience piqued her own interest, and she became a licensed agent soon after. She sells products in the health and life spectrum and believes that this kind of specialization gives her an expertise. “I think that knowledge is what sets me apart from other agents. I strive to obtain more knowledge so that I may benefit my clients.”
Terri believes "This is a service-oriented business, and I strive to provide the best possible service to each and every client. I feel that communication is very important in matching the right product to the current situation. I try to understand their needs through their eyes, and relate to the range of emotions driving their decision. Clear communication is crucial in helping to reduce or eliminate fears and obstacles before they become realities."
Terri holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/Finance. She is a Licensed Broker/Associate and an active member of The San Diego Association of Health Underwriters.
